Not too long ago, I read the news about a 62-year old billionaire who died in his sleep, most probably due to a heart attack. He did lots of charity work, he was going on in his life as usual and looks healthy and his death was a shock to his loved ones and friends.
It all depends on how you look at his sudden death and what meaning you read into it. He lived a meaningful life and showed lots of kindness by supporting many charity projects.
It could be because of his kindness, the good things that he had done that he didn't suffer much and died in his sleep. I know many people who wished to go that way without long suffering of a lingering sickness on their deathbed.
I prayed that God will give me the blessings to do lots of great things and help me make this world a better place and when the time comes for me to go, to let me die in my sleep.
