“DESIDERATA”

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

I love this poem meaningful poem "Desiderata" since I stumbled upon it when I was a teenager, now 60 years young, I think "DESIDERATA" is also a great acronym for Desire, Education, System, Integrity, Discipline, Empower, Results, Attitude, Time, and Action.

I'll touch briefly on this acronym and will share more with you at my 2-Day Create Wealth System Seminar.

Desire - Do you have a burning desire to achieve your dream? Are you willing to do whatever it takes ethically to achieve your dream?

Education - Are you teachable? Are you willing to learn form those who are successful? Are you willing to invest in yourself?

I've invested over $100,000 to learn million-dollar lessons on business and life from many successful entrepreneurs such as Robert Kiyosaki, Jay Abraham and Mark Victor Hansen.

I will share many million-dollar lessons on business and life at my 2-Day Create Wealth System Seminar.

"The best financial investment is in yourself. The more you learn the more you earn." - Warren Buffet

"An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest." - Benjamin Franklin

"The only good is knowledge and the only evil is ignorance." - Socrates

System - The system is the solution. You have the opportunity to help yourself and millions worldwide to have more money, more time and better health by leveraging a brilliant, proven and very effective system!

Integrity - God has made it very clear the importance of integrity, "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." - Matthew 7:12

Discipline - Do you have the daily discipline to do the things that will get you closer to your dream? All successful people understand that they must commit money, time and consistent effort to achieve their dreams!

Empower - When you give a man a fish you feed him only for a day, but when you teach him how to fish, he feeds himself and his family for a lifetime!

Results - If you are not happy with the results in your business and your life, then you must change your thoughts, words and actions. Everything is cause and effect - what you sow you shall reap - what goes around comes around in your business and your life.

Attitude - Lam Thubten Tsering, one of my spiritual gurus, always give this important advice "Check yourself!" Do you have a positive attitude or negative attitude?

A positive attitude will attract positive people to you, and a negative attitude will attract negative people to you, birds of a feather like to flock together!

Time - Yes, time and tide wait for no man. How many ten years do you have? If you have neglected your health, it many be later than you think.

If you take good care of your health, you can extend your life by 20 good years or more so that you have more precious years to do the things you love to do with your loved ones and friends and to make a positive difference before you leave this earth.

Action - Don't belong to the NATO Club, "No Action, Talk Only Club". Say what you mean and mean what you say, keep to your agreements and always deliver what you promise.

"Nothing happens until something moves." - Albert Einstein

"Don't sit in the meadow and expect the cow to back up and be milked - go after the cow!" - Elbert Hubbard
