If you are in network marketing or thinking of going into network marketing it is definitely to your advantage to read this open letter to all network marketers.

We all know that network marketing is a great, wonderful and life-transforming business but choosing the right company is critical to your success!

If an experienced network marketer finds it hard to build the business, how are the newbies going to make it? There are five critical factors: Good Management, A Great Range of Products, A Balanced and Generous Compensation Plan, A Good Support System and You Doing The Right Things!

If you have a management that do not respond well to good leaders’ feedback then the company is bound to fail, it is as simple as that. If you have a management team that lacks the experience and doesn’t have a good track record and lack the integrity, it is just a matter of time the company will fail!

You want a great range of products that are manufactured by a GMP (Good Manufacturer Practice) manufacturing plant and based on scientific research and endorsed and recommended by doctors and scientists because the products must be of high quality, safe and effective. It is definitely to your advantage if the company has a panel of medical advisors. You must give what the customers want, and they want variety, they do not want to be restricted to one product or just a few products. They want health food supplements and they also want skin care and hair care products. The market is always right.

You want a simple, balanced and generous compensation plan that is able to give the earnings of $300 to $1,000 or more a month part time with a decent amount of effort, this is what over 97% of the people industy wants, they are the part-timers and the smart consumers. Your compensation plan must be able to give earnings of $3,000 to $10,000 or more a month, and this is what  the business builders want and they make up less than 3% of the people in this industry. Those that make $30,000 to $100,000 or more a month are a minority, they belong to the 0.003% or less depending on the compensation plan.

The compensation plan must be simple, easy to understand and share, this is a business of duplication, if you find the compensation plan complicated and you find it hard to understand and difficult to share it, you should not be doing the business!

You definitely do not want a compensation plan that makes it very difficult for the part-timers to earn a decent part-time income with a decent amount of time and effort. You do not want a compensation plan that makes it difficult for the serious business builders to earn a five figure or six-figure income because there are too many companies with complicated compensation plans that caused the high attrition rate in this industry and it all boils down to one word: Greed! These companies do not want to pay out too much and too fast.

Too many people are being hurt by companies who do not deliver what they promised and change compensation plan that hurt leaders and the lower ranks who join the business with the dream of earning lifetime residual income for themselves and their families!

That is why I love these words: “The truth shall set you free!”

Present the reality of the business, do not misrepresent, lie or give false promises. Abraham Lincoln’s words of wisdom, he said that you can fool all the people sometime but you cannot fool all the people all the time, the industry has been hurt by rogue “leaders” who misrepresented the business.

You want a good support system where the management and leaders are co-operating and working closely together to ensure a good support system. Do you have internet support and people can easily join online, we are living in the information age and the company has to keep up with the times and competition. If you are working with a company that has not gotten their act together then it will be very difficult for you to attract leaders and business builders. You do not know what you don’t know and that is why I am writing this open letter to all network marketers, especially those who are new to the business.

The most important factor is “You”, you must be wise enough to seek the advice of those who have been there and done that. To be successful, learn from those who are successful, do not listen to those who have failed in the business, they will share with you all the reasons why you will fail in this business!

Do your due diligence and ask those you respect who will share with you the truth about the things you should look for in a good company and it is always difficult for a good leader to comment on another company and they will not do it but they will share with you what are the benchmarks and the things they will look for in a good company and by having this knowledge you should be able to make a decision for yourself if the company is the right company for you.

What I have written here will definitely help you to make a better decision and many leaders have failed before and made mistakes joining the wrong companies or they were right companies at the beginning until the management grew greedy and changed the compensation plan to pay out less and make it more difficult to earn a good lifetime residual income!

You will agree that leaders are smart, won’t you? Why should leaders leave a company if the management is giving them a raise in their income and change the compensation plan to their advantage?

I have been in this industry for over 16 years and I’ve seen enough to see how the industry has been hurt by the malpractices of companies who did the wrong things. There is no perfect industry, you are bound to have your black sheep. Do not focus too much on the black sheep, choose a good company by referring to the important factors I’ve shared here and listen to your heart and inner voice.

Be willing to learn and be willing to fail and make mistakes, all successful people have failed many times and made many mistakes and that is how they learn and become stronger! Do not be like those “crazy” people who heard about food poisoning in restaurants and start living in fear and are afraid to eat at restaurants! Do not be like those “crazy” people who complain about their lifestyle and are not willing to take action to make the necessary changes and that is why Einstein said: “The definition on insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.”
